Hello there,

I don’t know if I believe in you 100%.  There’s always a part of me that feels fraudulent when admitting your existence aloud.  But I believe in what you create.  There is something so wholesome, so intricate to your world—to our world.  It is special.  This weekend I feel like I have absorbed a lot of the goodness which has arisen through you and through humanity itself.  Wonders through nature and culture.

I’m so grateful for all the privileges awarded to me.  Truly.  These opportunities aren’t to be taken for granted.  Dance. Live music.  Sunshine.  Picnic. Tennis.  Undiscovered hideouts in a college town. My incredibly witty, talented friends.  They are amazing people.  These things don’t cost money but they amount to so much.  Lasting memories.

There is also something to be said for eccentricity.  I know I say this, always always.  But nothing is more important than staying true to the idiosyncrasies.  It’s what I truly look for in a person, friend or more.  What makes you stand out from everyone else?  When you’re not concerned with others’ judgments, who are you?

I’m going to keep wearing tie-dyed penguin shirts.  I’m going to dance deliberately to the off beats.  I’m going to keep going.
