Today I am immersed in passions.

A world of tea, of poetry, of candles (the vanilla kind), of fiction.  Of humor and love and ideals.  This is the time to really indulge in what defines me and what I enjoy.  What piques my interest and fulfills my whims.

I think I want to interview people for a living.  I love describing people through their nature.  I love finding out about someone through previously concealed secrets and undisclosed facts.  I think this is what I want to do.

Today I am immersed in distracted productivity.

I have read a couple essays on Joan Didion, started Junot Diaz’s novel, toppled over Tao Lin’s poetry, and been scared shitless by a law advice book.  It’s been a really good day.
